He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Howard Phillippi (Parker); and his parents, Wilby Eugene and Sarah Gladys Phillippi (Gentry) of Mountain City. He is survived by: his cousins, Sam, David, Kathy, Jill and Judy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valley View Methodist Church (815 Old Edgemoor Ln, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Jimmy continued those lesson by being a caring and generous man, helping others all of his life until being overcome by Alzheimer's Disease.
