He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Wilson and Eleanora "Toots" Wilson (Alt); his wife Sharon Wilson; his stepmother Laura Wilson; his in-laws, Charles and Vivian Colton; his brother Jerry; and his siblings-in-law, Neva Wilson, Duane, Mary Colton and Richard McCarty.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly (Melvin McKern), Robin (Dan Rathke), Roger (Jennifer Wilson), Christine (James Flere) and Joan (Chad Kennedy); his sister-in-law Patricia McCarty; and his friend Doug Jonsen. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
