He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Erixon and Barbara Erixon (Carpenter); his wife Karen Sue Proberts; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Kocour, Kent Stolz and Steven Proberts.
He is survived by: his former wife Diane Marie Stolz; his children, Jennifer Erixon and William Casey Erixon (Zoey); his siblings, Tom Erixon (Marla), Pat Kocour, Albert Erixon (Marilyn), Margaret Morse (Don) and Bobby Erixon (Theresa); and his siblings-in-law, Randy Stolz (Colleen), Mike Stolz and Jane Proberts.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (4 Valley View Dr, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick Catholic Church-Council Bluffs, and to St. Albert Catholic Schools.
