He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Nelson and Pauline Peacock (Unmack); and his sister Karen Loden. He is survived by: his daughter Angela Clark (Mark); his grandchildren, Kailey Rablin, Madelyn Rablin and Dylan Clark; his former wife Pam Nelson; and his siblings, Bev Clark (Rick), Mike Nelson (Carol), Ronnie Rogers (Lois), Deb Nelson, Sharon Jensen (Steve) and Ardis Engler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
