With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith A. Barcus (Council Bluffs, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 23, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Stankowski and Georgianna Stankowski (Rozumialski); her husband Walter C. Barcus; and her brother Carl Stankowski. She is survived by: her sons, Jim (Dorie) of Council Bluffs and Michael of Omaha; her stepgrandchildren, Mindi Avis, Autumn Peabody (Jim) and Shawn Avis; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ridge, Rivers, Zoeie, Tucker, Abbie, Braidyn and Braxtyn; and her siblings, Patricia Stankowski, Rosemarie Cieslewicz (David) and Lester Stankowski (Judi) of Wisconsin.
