With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Julie Powell (Council Bluffs, Iowa), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Julie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Julie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Julie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Leonard Powell and Marjorie Ann Powell (Knudsen); her stepfather Jerry L. McIntosh; and her pet Sebastian. She is survived by: her sisters, Rhonda Kilday (Jim) and Lisa Elliott (Mark); her stepbrother Wayne McIntosh (Suzanne); and her siblings' children, Jaime Harden (Nathanial), Alexander Elliott (Courtney) and Kyle Elliott. She is also survived by three great nieces and one great nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
