She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Piper and Ruby Piper (Brown); her husband Donald Behrens; her siblings, Millie Butcher and Donald Piper; and her granddaughters, Jamie Lynn Potter and Julianne Joy Potter.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Behrens (Connie), Monte Behrens (Sharon), Cindy Potter (Steve), Tim Behrens (Gail), Jeff Behrens (Alison) and Kelly Behrens (Bobbie). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene (2600 Ave A, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
