We announce the death of Kathy I. Burse (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 79. Kathy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah and Mary (Murphy); her son Christopher McMullen; and her brothers, Michael Murphy, Steven Chambers and Jeffrey Chambers.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Burse; her children, Todd McMullen, Erin Woods, Megan Spencer and Olivia Burse; her siblings, Sheila Theophilopoulos (Tim), Debbie Vossen (Patrick) and Lynn Chambers; and her close friend Sarah Sanders. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
