He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton White and Joyce Underwood White; his wife Susan Kay White; and his brother Douglas White. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Logan, Olivia White, Braylon, Landon, Quentin and Kroy Kammrad; his children, Brian White (Julie) of Omaha, NE. and Laurie Kammrad (Justin) of Council Bluffs; his siblings, Cheryl Peters (John) of California, Georgia Hasan of Des Moines, IA., David White (Arlene) of Des Moines, IA. and Deborah Wilschutz of Stow, Ohio; and his close friend Dee Engstrom. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Broadway United Methodist Church (11 S 1st St, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (901 N 6th St, Missouri Valley, IA 51555).
The family kindly suggests memorials be made in Larry's memory to either Broadway United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer Association.
