He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey L. Wymore and Velma Wymore (Pleas); his wife Lela Wymore; his sons, Robert and Gary Wymore; his brother Donald Wymore; and his brother-in-law Richard "Dick" Myers.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Wymore of Council Bluffs; his daughter-in-law Sherri Wymore of Tomball, TX; his stepchildren, Debra Blum (Greg) of Council Bluffs and John Benson (Lori) of Omaha; and his sister Doris Myers of Iowa City, IA. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
