It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Ranney (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Leonard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Leonard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Ranney and Lela Ranney (DeBar); and his grandchildren, Jerald McManigal and Kari Firlik. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ranney; his children, Larry Ranney (Debra), Linn Leahy (Gerard), Kelly Bock (Karl), John Dougherty (Marty), Wade Ranney (Laura) and Judy Evans (John); and his brother Del Ranney (Kathy). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
