He was predeceased by: his parents, Pascual Mendoza and Dolores Mendoza; his son Leopoldo Jr.; his siblings, Gonzalo, Pascual Mendoza and Connie Owens; and his son-in-law Frank Wolfe.
He is survived by: his wife Manuela Mendoza; his daughters, Estela Ebner (Patrick), Ester Greelis, Anita Wolfe, Amelia "Amie" Andersen (James) and Erlinda Mora (Ramon); and his siblings, Jesus Mendoza (Janice), Soledad Tamayo, Carmela Cordova, Maria Stockton, Arturo Mendoza (Helen), Cristina Blakely (Joe), Santiago Mendoza (Sandy) and Jose Mendoza (Consuelo). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.
