She was predeceased by: her parents, Eizo Heyes and Ella Heyes (Hunt); her siblings, Joann Mae Heyes and Dick Allen Heyes; and her brother-in-law Chuck Fletcher.
She is survived by: her husband David B. Cavin; her children, Karen Barry, Rob Langhoff of Council Bluffs and Janice Lemm (Brian) of Maryville, MO; her grandchildren, Danyelle, Kent, Jr., Nikki (Cole), Shelby and Koltin; her great grandchildren, Jaela, Letty, Eliza and Haydin; and her sister Leona Fletcher of Smyrna, TN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
