She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Green and Irene Green (O'Rourke); her husband Darrell Klein; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Mary Ann Klein (Schmitz); her siblings, Don (Marni), Leo Green and Susan; and her sister-in-law Julie Green.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Jo) of Council Bluffs and Todd (Steph) of Highlands Ranch, CO; her grandchildren, Jacque (Jared Knedler) of Council Bluffs, Josh Klein of Scottsdale, AZ and Maddy Klein of Highlands Ranch, CO; her great grandchild Josie Knedler; her siblings, Bob Green of Omaha, NE, Tom (Collette Green) of Harlan, IA, Theresa (Tom Scherer) of Centennial, CO and Geralyn (Arlan Christensen) of Harlan, IA; and her sister-in-law Sandy Green of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick Church- Council Bluffs (4 Valley View Dr, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Saint Albert Catholic Schools.
