We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2024, at the age of 82, Melva Wood (Council Bluffs, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Melva is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Melva's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Ridnour and LaVerna Ridnour (Hoffman); and her siblings, Phyllis Chubick and Duane Ridnour. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Wood; her son Casey; her daughter-in-law Janelle Wood; her sister Gloria Baldwin; her grandchildren, Aaron Wood (Maggie) and Michaela Wood; her great grandchild Sylvester Wood; and her brother-in-law Otis Chubick.
