It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olie A. Griswold of Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angel Rodriguez and Connie Rodriguez (Perez). He is survived by: his wife Carol Griswold of Council Bluffs; his children, Jamie Crosier (Kevin) of Sullivan, Angela Miller (Brandon) of Bethany, Adam Pruitt (Veronica) of Lovington, Emily Williams (Chris), Daniel Krueger of Omaha and Jonathan Krueger (Melissa) of Council Bluffs; and his sisters, Rachel Adams (Ron) of Yorkville, Abigail Newsome (Clyde) of Omaha and Vasthi Gibson (Michael) of Pierre. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene (2600 Ave A, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
