He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Krause and Ann Krause (Quiring); and his wife Karen Krause. He is survived by: his sons, Brad Krause (Carole) and Bruce Krause (Cara); his grandchildren, Brennen, Nolan, Riley and Gavin; and his siblings, Jim Krause (Chris), Anne Isder and John Krause.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Saint John United Church of Christ, Lewis Township Volunteer Fire & Rescue or the Council Bluffs Optimist Club.
