He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Peterson and Edith Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Janis M. Smith; his children, Steven (Madonna), Nancy (Keith), Scott (Katie) and Jenny; his grandchildren, Scott (Jess), Sarah (Andy), Alex (Felicia) of Sophia, TJ, Paige, Sam and Emma (AJ); and his great grandchildren, Eli, Penelope, Cooper, Rhett, Gavin, Pepper and Auggie.
