He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Ronald Thomas and Helen Thomas (Otis); and his sister Lynn Lieber. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Johnson of Council Bluffs; his sons, Rob Thomas (Jill) of Gilbert, AZ, Scott Tomasso (Sema) of Sherman Oaks, CA and Chad Tomasso of Phoenix, AZ; his stepdaughters, Rachel Ohl (Ray) of Dow City, IA and Hannah Bradney (Thomas) of Beatrice, NE; his grandchildren, Tanner, Rylan, Ethan, Liv, Blaekly, Graysen, Leo, Reyni, Charlotte and Jackson; and his brother Ron Thomas of Idaho.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
