He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Tiarks (McCart) and John Henry Tiarks; and his brother Max Tiarks. He is survived by: his son John Maxwell Tiarks (Karrie); his wife Janet Tiarks (Olsen); his daughter Elizabeth Fritzinger (Matt); and his grandsons, Braden Tiarks, Maxwell Tiarks, Atticus Fritzinger and Asolo Fritzinger.
