He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his child Dorie Barcus (Jim); his grandchildren, Eric Royalty (Cheryl), Jamie Smothers (Tim), Mindi Avis, Autumn Peabody (Jim) and Shawn Avis; his mother-in-law Mary Lou Colvin; his daughter-in-law Denise Royalty; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Waggoner (Bill), Paula Kadlec (Larry) and Valorie Buchholz. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
