With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Hall (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on September 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Preston and Ruth Preston (Fuller); and her siblings, Robert Preston Sr. (Neva) and Martha Mason. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Parmley (David Reed) of Council Bluffs, Valerie Leviton (Marc) of Tucson, Christopher Parmley (Rie) of Millard and Sylvia Parmley of Tucson, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Jasmine Parmley of Cambridge, Ian Parmley of Millard, Elijah Leviton of Tucson, Arizona. and Isaac Leviton of Tucson, Arizona..

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Iowa PBS Foundation in Johnston, Iowa.
