We bid farewell to Shirley A. Breitenstein of Council Bluffs, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2024 at the age of 83. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her brothers, Charles Flos and Michael Flos. She is survived by : her sister-in-law Marilyn Flos; her children, Ann DeSantiago of Council Bluffs, Lisa Sunders of Council Bluffs, Edward Breitenstein (LaTia) of Council Bluffs, Roger Padilla (April) of Colorado and Sherri Gray of Council Bluffs; her grandchildren, Sarah, Levi, William, Alanna, Ricky, Destiny, Daytona, Matthieu, Toni, Chloe, Kris, Basilio and Dakota of Marissa, A. J.; and her great grandchildren, Lillian, Aidyn, Arianna, Luna, MariahJo, Zane, Anabelle, Kiera, Bentley, Callie, Ruby, Freya, Triella, Scarlet, Abel, Morgan and Holden. She is also survived by sister-in-law Colleen Flos, Colorado; many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024.
