She was predeceased by : her father John Kannedy. She is survived by : her mother Judy Kannedy (Baxter); her children, Dylan Payne (Jennifer) and Cassandra "Cassie" Payne (Nathan Emons); her siblings, Shawn Kannedy (Michelle) and Shelia Boykin (Johnny); and her grandchildren, Alexander, Maximus, John and Jasper Payne.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calhoun Cemetery.
