He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Gillespie, and Delores Gillespie, Sr.; and his wife Amy Lee. He is survived by: his siblings, Lora Barker, Jerry Gillespie (Teresa), Clyde Gillespie, Jr. (April) and Shawn Gillespie (Tracy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery (1350 E Pierce St, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
