He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Mooney and Evelyn Mooney (Whitehouse); and his sister Echo LaCaille. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Mooney; his father-in-law Keith Dobler; and his sister-in-law Nancy Kohler (Daniel).
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501).
