He was predeceased by: his mother Donna Wilson. He is survived by: his father Martin Wilson of Council Bluffs; his wife Carmen Mahanke-Wilson of Council Bluffs; his children, Daniel Wilson of Omaha, Nebraska and Cally Hanel (Dave) of Bellevue, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Allison Mahanke and Ethan Knauss; and his siblings, Mike Wilson of Council Bluffs, Jay Wilson (Candy) of Council Bluffs, Susan Atkins (Geoff Atchley) of Council Bluffs and Cindy Nelle (John) of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
