With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Travis A. Durfey of Council Bluffs, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Larry Durfey and Joe Hughes; his aunt Kolleen McGargill; and his cousin Luka Hodges. He is survived by: his parents, Doug Durfey and Kay Durfey (Hughes); his child Rilee Kyle; his sisters, Tabatha Durfey (Jeni) of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Tara Whittington (Doug) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his grandmothers, Marian Durfey of Essex, Iowa and Jackie Hughes of Imogene, Iowa; and his siblings' children, Creighton Durfey of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Kenzie Whittington of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Kendall Whittington of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Callie Durfey of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Bentley Whittington of Council Bluffs, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
