Verna left this world on October 19, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Franzl and Viola Franzl. She is survived by: her sons, Harold Brodahl (Christine) and Larry Brodahl (Jean); her great grandchildren, Adam Brodahl and Andrew Brodahl (Allison); Xaigan, Brenton, Maxmillian and Lexi.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory (545 Willow Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Council Bluffs Public Library would be appreciated.
