Viola left this world on April 16, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hertzing and Anna Hertzing (Kenkel); her husbands, Donald Hendricks and Robert James Sr.; her son-in-law Bob Stanfill; her stepchildren, Denise James and Michael James; and her siblings, Helen Henry and Vernon Hertzing.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Hendricks Sr. (Joni) of Council Bluffs, John Hendricks (Vicky) of Kansas City, MO., Connie Stanfill of Council Bluffs, Brenda Cammarada (Chuck) of Omaha, Robert James Jr. (Lila) of Denver, CO. and Joni Hendricks (James) of Council Bluffs; and her sister Lois Ann "Butch" Phillips. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
