It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda M. Hessel (Council Bluffs, Iowa), who passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Wanda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Schultz and Winifred Schultz (Knofler). She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda May (Chuck); and her grandson Taylor of Council Bluffs.
