He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Smith and Margaret Smith (Christofferson); his grandson Micah Thomas; and his siblings, Jack Smith, Marjorie Pickinpaugh, Jacqueline Achenbach, Shirley Lee and Norma Leeper.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Smith; his daughters, Cheri Thomas and Shelly Valdiserri (Tom); his grandchildren, Jacob, Julie, Zachary, Samantha and Rachel; his great grandchildren, Claire, Ava, Ella and Caleb; his sister Betty Smith (John); and his sister-in-law Ginny Smith.
Memorials are suggested to The PACE Center or Salem United Methodist Church.
