Willa will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Willa by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Willa is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Willa’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Forest Trent and Helen Francis Hawkins; her husband Terry J. Wilson; her sister Wanda; and her grandson Dylan.
She is survived by: her sons, Tom Wilson of Blue Grass and Monte Valentine of Davenport; and her sister Beth Choate of Blue Grass. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beatty Funeral Home & Cremation Service (107 S 15th Ave, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
