She was predeceased by: her parents, George Delanty and Geraldine Delanty (Ostdiek); her husband Bill Root; her son Robbie Root; her grandson Colton Benson; and her siblings, Patricia Schlautman, Jeanette Blair and Gary Delanty.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Croson (Nancy), Terrie Graves (John), Cheryl Schellin, Kim Zaloudek (Kerry), Kevin Root (Cynthia) and Russell Root; and her siblings, Donna Anderson, Kay Brownfield, Karen Allen (Frank Hickey), Connie Hook and Pam Cruz (Ralph). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The family will direct memorial contributions.
