It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Art Bina of Cresco, Iowa, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bina and Helen Bina (Marchek); his wife Beverly "Bev" Boeke; his brother Ray Bina; his son-in-law Jim Dunn; his great grandchild Cora Sobolik; his brother-in-law Jim Daly; and also, Vern and Dorothy Boeke.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Williams (Rodney), Patty Mohn (Milan), Jerry Bina (Lisa) and Becky Dunn (Kenny Dotzler). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, 2 sisters-in-law, and a brother and sister-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (124 N Main St, Protivin, IA 52163). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
