It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Wilgenbusch of Cresco, Iowa, born in Manchester, Iowa, who passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Wilgenbusch and Leonetta Wilgenbusch (Thiesen); his brother Dale Wilgenbusch; his brothers-in-law, JJ Goedken and Leo Francois; his nephew Keith Wilgenbusch; his parents-in-law, Edmund and Gladys Schmitt; and also Corbin.
He is survived by : his wife Linda Wilgenbusch of Cresco; his children, Jessie Hovden (Scott) of Decorah, IA, Matt Wilgenbusch (Andrea Nelson) of Denver, CO and Mike Wilgenbusch (Sarah) of Lime Springs, IA; his granddaughters, Emily and Hannah Hovden; and his siblings, Lois Francois, Ken Wilgenbusch (Kathy), Linda Goedken and Chuck Wilgenbusch (Merri Jo). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to plant a tree at the nature center or to the Alzheimer's Association.
