She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Wentworth and Lydia Wentworth (Webber); her husband Bill; her stepdaughter Rhonda Walker; and her siblings, Dorothy Slifka, Mary Walton (Robert), Eleanor Tupy (Dan), Betty Farghum (Elmer), Helen Fuller, Floyd (Alma), Roger (Lorrine) and Gene Wentworth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Sovereign (Dave), Linda Platz (Gary), Jane Gadow (John) and Janice Croat (Randall); and also, Lorna Kinney and Lisa Walker. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (920 3rd St E, Cresco, IA 52136). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Howard County Community Hospice, First Lutheran Church, or Evans Memorial Home Activities Fund.
