With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kent S Cook of Cresco, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cook and Margaret Cook (Stevenson); his former wife Terri Sue Potts; and his half-brothers, Reed, Roger and Ralph Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Sullivan; his stepdaughters, Alison Holten (Brad) and Amy Leistikow (Brent); his stepgrandchildren, Kaiya, Kaden Holten, Cael and Carsyn Leistikow; his sisters, Jean Fountain and Linda Sass; his nieces, Angela Aldridge (Tony) and Alicia Armstrong (Mike); his great-nephews, Maddox and Alex; and his great-niece Toni.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schmelzer Funeral Homes - Cresco (119 2nd Ave SE, Cresco, IA 52136). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Howard County Cancer Association (HOCA) or Howard County Community Hospice.
