He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Houdek and Viola Houdek (Jarosh); his sisters, Loretta Marhoul and LuAnn; his siblings-in-law, George Marhoul, Ed Jertson, Don Vick, Eric Witzke, Ken Strasser, John Albert, Joe Albert and Linda Belken; and his mothers-in-law, Lorraine and Tressa Albert.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, David (Shelly) of Clear Lake, IA and Kelly Biastre (George) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Grant Biastre of Jacksonville, FL and Dr. Sierra Brooks (Tanner) of Pittsburg, PA.; and his siblings, Karen Jertson, Ila Vick, Patsy Houdek, Debbie Strasser and Steve (Janet). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
