He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sobolik and Olivia Sobolik (Burgart); his wife Kay Sobolik; and his brothers, Art, Marty, George and Joe Sobolik.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Balk (Rich Grube) of Cresco, Tracey Armstrong (Darren) of Onalaska and Troy Sobolik of Cresco; his grandchildren, Breanne House (Jesse), Bethany Balk, Morgan Armstrong-Newsom (Derek), Ty Sobolik and Baylee Malven (Trevor); his great grandchildren, Ella, Callan and Lennon; his siblings, Jim Sobolik (Sharon) and Mary Jarvis; his sisters-in-law, Marie, Evie and Margaret Sobolik; and his close friend Shirley Loden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at 110 N Elm St, Cresco, IA 52136.
