He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Ollendick and Ivy Ollendick (Buettgenbach); his parents-in-law, Arthur and Eleanor Eischeid; his sister-in-law Donna Ollendick; and his son-in-law Daniel Burnikel.

He is survived by : his children, Jon Thomas (Tammie) of Grimes, IA, Jayne Elizabeth of Winona, MN, Joseph David and Jillene Anna; his wife Suzanne Kay Eischeid; his children, Joe (Tracy) of Grimes, IA and Jill Jirak (Dan) of Center Point, IA; his grandchildren, Zeb, Zoe Ollendick, Alexis White (Ron), Owen Burnikel (Kristina), Will Ollendick, Jared Jirak (Sam), Josh Jirak (Haley) and Jace Jirak (Mandy); his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Oliver White, Dahlia, Monroe Jirak, Emmy Jirak and Kasen Jirak; his siblings, Richard Ollendick (Joyce), Gary Ollendick (Sandy), Tom Ollendick (Mary), Ken Ollendick, Duane Ollendick (Ginger) and Diane Wright (Gene); and his brother-in-law Dave Eischeid (Carol). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Howard County Community Hospice, the Howard County Fairgrounds, the Historical Society or a charity of your choice.
