She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Slifka and Ella Slifka (Zotika); her son John Gooder; her siblings, Betty (LaVern Zobeck), Jerry (Shirlee) and Sonny (Janice); her siblings-in-law, Bill Gooder, Betty Gooder and Ron Roberts; and her son-in-law Michael Duroe.
She is survived by: her sister Yvonne; her son Patrick Gooder (Becky) of Cresco, IA; her grandchildren, Shay Gooder, Chris Gooder (family: Leo, Judelyn), Dakota Hruska (Bryce, family: Arietta, Lyndy) and Michael Gooder (Rachel) of Cresco, IA; her great grandchildren, Abby Inglis (Dan, family: Wyatt, Rosie, Eli), John Gooder (Molly, family: Ella, Mara, Nora) and Gary Gooder (Sara) of Cresco, IA; and also, Sydney Gooder, Paxton, Summer, Josie Hrdlicka (Brian, family: Maelyn, Gentry, Presley), Sierra Gooder, Lee Gooder (Jill) of Cresco, IA, Shelley Marshall (Joe, family: Kenedy, Lakelyn, Zach Gooder, Autumn, Ailyn) and Gay Duroe of Tiffin, IA..
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (116 3rd St E, Cresco, IA 52136).
