Though Russell may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Russell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Bremseth; his sons, Jimmy Allison (Becky), Daniel Allison (Emily) and Russell Junior Bremseth; and his siblings, Joe Bremseth (Karen) and Rosie Bremseth. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (130 3rd Ave E, Cresco, IA 52136). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
