He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Bremseth and Teresa Bremseth (Kingsley); his son Richard Allison; and his sister Debra Elliott (Jon). He is survived by: his wife Dianne Bremseth of Cresco, IA; his sons, Jimmy Allison (Becky) of Peoria, IL, Daniel Allison (Emily) of Cresco and Russell Junior Bremseth of Cresco; and his siblings, Joe Bremseth (Karen) of San Diego, CA and Rosie Bremseth of Kerrville, TX.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
