He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Riniker and Dolores Riniker (Bohr). He is survived by: his wife Janet Riniker (Bronner); his daughters, Lara Ness (David) of Dubuque, Trish Raap (Chad) of Cedar Rapids and Becky Burke (Mark) of Cresco; his grandchildren, Trae Riniker (Belle) of Osage, Abbie Burke (Nick Lee), Allie Burke (Hunter Mackenburg) of Cresco, Jared, Logan Ness of Dubuque, Kade and Bell Raap of Cedar Rapids; his great grandchildren, Duncan and Tatum Riniker; and his sisters, Martha Fulton (Brett) and Sherri Slifka. He is also survived by extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Life with Wayne was always a gamble worth taking, and every moment was a winning hand!In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cresco Firefighters and the Howard County Cancer Association (HOCA) in Wayne's honor.
