It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma E Mohs of Cresco, Iowa, who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Wilma is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Wilma's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arnold and Nellie Mae Mohs (Wilmot); and her siblings, Donald Mohs (Bernice) and Donna Mae Hebrink. She is survived by: her nieces, Judy Stockand, Barb Mohs, Deb Hebrink, Kim Freerksen (Robert) and Connie Ripley; and her brother-in-law Rodney Hebrink. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Schmelzer Funeral Homes - Cresco (119 2nd Ave SE, Cresco, IA 52136). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
