Barbara Allen Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Allen of Creston, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Allen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gail Phillips and Opal Phillips (Wycoff); her husband Robert Allen; her children, Robert Allen, Jr. and Sandy Cornelison (Merrill); her grandchildren, Bobby Allen and Kelly Sims; and her brothers, Richard and Galen Phillips.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Christina Crabb (Rob) of Afton, Dawn Wright (Dave Murphy) of Winterset, Bobby Jo Stanley of Minnesota, Joe Allen of Indianola, Megan Allen of Indianola and Bryan Allen of Truro; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Phillips of Sunrise Beach and Karen Phillips of Waterloo. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one great-great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Montpelier Cemetery.
