She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edward Nicola and Mamie Evelyn (Carter); her husband Al Veitz; her son Gary Veitz; and her sisters, Betty Lou Kady (Red Kady), Beverly Hoffman (Leonard Hoffman) and Ida May Hansen.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeff Veitz (Jenny) of Creston and Lindsey Veitz of Grimes; her great grandchildren, Payton and Riley Veitz; and her brother-in-law Eldon Hansen of Fremont, Neb..
