He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cecil Chubick and Theresa Hester LeRette; his siblings, Art, Delbert, Wilbur, Marion, Jerry, Franklyn, Rosalyn Nash and Theresa Doreen Clark; and his granddaughter Falisha Chubick.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Chubick Jr. of Fort Dodge, IA, Frank Chubick of Coolidge, AZ, Aaron Chubick of Maricopa, AZ and Monica Hatter (Gregg) of Huntley, IL; his sister-in-law Joan Chubick; and his grandchildren, Kiya Trujillo (Albert), Chessa Chubick, Ashlyn Schlapia, Justin Schlapia, Jacob Hatter, Braedon Hatter, Kylie Hatter, Brooklyn Hatter, Raiden Chubick, Draven Chubick, Gage Chubick and Bo. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center - Creston (809 W Montgomery St, Creston, IA 50801). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery (1470 Quince Ave, Prescott, IA 50859).
