Betty M. Travis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2022, at the age of 88, Betty M. Travis of Creston, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Solomon Lee and Elizabeth Kaziah Hardisty (Fudge); her siblings, James Hardisty (Lorna), Robert Cox, Ernest Hardisty (Velda), Harold Hardisty (Beatrice), Paul Hardisty (Evelyn), Marie Roach (Clifford) and Henry Hardisty (Joyce); and her son-in-law Jerry McAlexander.
She is survived by : her children, Bruce Randall (Dee) of Creston, Iowa, Rosalie McAlexander of Beaconsfield and David Travis (Jean) of Creston, Iowa; her sister Velma Cox of Manitowoc, WI; and her grandchildren, Jeff McAlexander, Tim McAlexander (Sarah), Pat McAlexander (Melissa), Andy McAlexander (Becky), Jamie Travis (Megan), Clint Travis (Rachael), Adam Travis (Kelsey), Mallory Lents (Kevin), Mandy Henderson (Drew), Curtis Travis (Chelsea) and Roxanne Ward (Casey). She is also survived by 30 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Mayflower Heritage Christian School of Creston.
