He is survived by: his wife Constance Spurgeon of Creston; his children, Lynn Brandt (Kirk) of Corning, Lonna Hayes (Earl) of Morton, Ill, Ryan Spurgeon (Nikki) of Gretna, Neb., Tonya J. Glenn of Creston, Nicholas Jannings (Sarah) of Orient and James Kinyon (Lori) of Orient; his siblings, Duane Shaw of Blue Springs and Sherry Knorr of Kansas City; and his brother-in-law Randi Hiatt (Rose) of Creston. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
